ERG CHALLENGE at Local High Schools Galleries

3-03-08 Coffman High School : Jan Humes (Coffman co-coordinator) set up the date for the competition. Kim Sheling (a parent of a future rower for the fall), and Janet Woodall (Coffman co-coordinator) set up during the recruiting event. Bonnie Bauer took her lunch break from work to also come and helped out during the event. There were over 130 students and administrators who tried rowing with our crew kids. Thanks to the following student for ther participation and help during this recruiting effort: Jeff M, Kelly M, Alex B, Matt H, Jason W, Pyria N, Therasa G, Shifumi T, Keith J and Kate T.

2-29-08 Jerome High School : Thank you to Kelsey A, Allie D, Cassie K, Carrie M, Amy R, Jordan S, and Colin S for your very successful organization and operation of the first ever Jerome Erg Challenge. Thank you to Nancy Rohling (Jerome School Coordinator) and Micky Schembri for being the parent point people on this recruiting project. Over 150 students, faculty, and administrators took a turn on the ergs during lunch challenging each other to pull their hardest!
